SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services position made for intervention ordeals a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this SRD reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all clients and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
